The “Night of the Middleweights“ card on July 11th at the new Ring°Arena located at the famous Nürburgring Speedway will now feature a third attractive middleweight collision when WBO #4 Gennady “Mr. Merciless“ Golovkin (16-0, 13 KOs), the shooting-star of the Spotlight Boxing team, will be facing WBO #15 John Anderson Carvalho (18-3-1, 11 KOs) in a fight fot the WBO Intercontinental belt. The huge “Universum Champions Night” event will take place in during the weekend of the 2009 German Formula 1 Grand Prix and feature two middleweight world championships. Headlining will be WBA world champion Felix Sturm (32-2-1, 14 KOs) against reigning European champion Khoren Gevor (30-3, 16 KOs), who is currently rated WBA # 2. Also WBC #2 Sebastian Zbik (26-0, 10 KOs) and #1 Domenico Spada (29-1, 14 KOs) face off for the vacant WBC interim middleweight crown.
