Gonzalez destroys Araiza

WBO #8 bantamweight William “Chirizo” Gonzalez (25-3, 21 KOs) scored a spectacular second round TKO over WBO #15 Jose Luis “Tapitas” Araiza (31-2, 22 KOs) on Friday night at Miccosukee Resort & Gaming in Miami, Florida. Gonzalez dropped Araiza twice before the bout was waved off bt referee Tommy Kimmons at the 1:00 mark. Gonzalez retained his WBO Latin belt.

Unbeaten middleweight Michael Oliveira (12-0, 10 KOs) stopped game journeyman Jessie Davis (11-18, 8 KOs) in round four. Referee Tommy Kimmons waved it off to protect Davis from further punishment.

Unbeaten jr welterweight Xavier “X-Factor” Burgos (4-0, 1 KO) outpointed Amaury Torres (4-11-2, 1 KO) over four one-sided rounds.

2004 Olympian Sherali Dostiev (6-0, 2 KOs) won a four rounder against previously unbeaten Orlando Rizo (9-1, 8 KOs) in a super bantamweight bout. Scores were 39-37, 39-37, 40-36 for Dostiev.
