World champions Jhonny Gonzalez, Elio Rojas and Juan Carlos Salgado conducted a public workout for fans and the press on Wednesday in the center of the city of Cancun, Mexico. Before about 4,000 boxing fans all main participants showed their skills and physical condition for their fights this Saturday to be held in Cancun’s Grand Oasis Arena.
“I feel really good. I’m on the weight and now nothing but wait for the first minute of the fight. I am prepared to give a great fight and advance in search of better opponents and opportunities,” says Gonzalez. The opinions of boxing experts vary for the Rojas-Gonzalez fight, but Gonzalez’ activity in the last 2 years as opposed to Rojas who has been out with an injury.
