Gonzalez-Sanchez II off?

Promociones del Pueblo has decided to terminate talks for a possible fight between WBC world featherweight champion Johnny Gonzalez against countryman Salvador Sanchez II in July in Mexico. Gonzalez is looking for was looking to make a fifth defense before taking a big fight in the U.S. back in September against the likes of Orlando Salido or Daniel Ponce De Leon. WBC #10 Sanchez II, the look-a-like nephew of Mexican ring great Salvador Sanchez, had repeatedly called out Jhonny and Gonzalez’ Team finally agreed to defend against him provided Sanchez II beat Juan Beltran last Saturday in Mexico City with Jhonny at ringside watching the fight. However during the ensuing week boxing experts and the media attacked Sanchez II questioning his skills and ability to face a top champion like Jhonny Gonzalez.
