A car accident involving co main event contestant Purnell Gates has led to the postponement of this Friday’s scheduled card at the Woodland Sports Plex in downtown Grand Rapids, MI. Promoter Earl Thompson informed Fightnews.com that Gates’ injuries are not life threatening but are serious enough to prevent him from competing on Friday. Promoter Thompson stated that he will be announcing a new date for the show shortly.
