For the better part of a year now, only the Emerald Queen Casino Casino has had professional boxing in the state of Washington. And at that, they cut their shows from eight to five to accommodate MMA shows. However there is a new player in town. Haugen-Cintron-Canin Promotions will be having their opening show at Vision Quest Arena in Auburn, Washington on April 10th. Promoters Greg Haugen and Joe Cintron are putting together a nine bout card of six- and four-round fights featuring local area talent as well as two fighters from the Cuban National team. According to Greg Haugen, “There hasn’t been enough use of local fighters in the area. We want to provide steady fights while we try to build local fighters. The first show features Jonte Willis, Mike Gavronski, Dashon Johnson, Aubrey Morrow, and Brady Haugen (Greg’s son), in separate bouts. Tickets are priced at $30 and the fights start at 7PM.
