Former longtime WBO lightweight champion Artur Grigorian (37-1, 22 KOs), who reigned as world champion from 1996 to 2004, will return to the ring for the first time in nearly five years on February 24th. It was announced at a press conference today that the 41-year-old “King Artur” will face Kirkor Kirkorov (28-21, 6 KOs) in a six rounder. The bout will take place at the famous Universum Gym in Hamburg during a gala celebration commemorating Universum’s 25th Anniversary. The company has presented 275 fight cards during that span, and produced 23 world champions (plus 9 female world champions). All are invited to attend the event.
