As previously reported by FightNews, former two-time WBO champion Joan Guzman and IBO Light Welterweight champ Khabib Allakhverdiev will tangle for the WBA “Regular” Super Lightweight title on November 30, in Fort Lauderdale, FL at the Bank Atlantic Center. Both fighters’ repreentatives involved- Vladimir Hrunov (Allakhverdiev) and Henry Rivalta of Aquinity Promotions (Guzman) presented the finalized contracts today at the WBA convention in Jakarta, Indonesia. The WBA is sanctioning the bout as former “regular” champ Marcos Maidana vacated to move to Welterweight and Danny Garcia is the “Super” champion after unifying his own WBC belt with that of WBA champ Amir Khan.
