In his final week before heading to Las Vegas, Joan Guzman held an open workout in Manchester, England yesterday. Fans from all over the country traveled to get a glimpse of one of the fight games most talented stars and were not left disappointed. Guzman spent the first 30 minutes taking some local amateurs through their paces before working the pads with trainer Lee Beard and finishing off on the heavy bag. Speaking to Guzman after the session he stated, “I’m so pleased to be here in England, the fans have been very good to me and I hope one day I can fight over here.” When asked about his new training team of Lee Beard and Kerry Kayes, Guzman’s face lit up like an excited kid, “I really enjoy working with Lee and Kerry, they work me hard but that is good, I feel in great shape and can’t wait to show everyone the real Guzman on fight night.”
