British and Commonwealth heavyweight champion David Price weighed in at 247 lbs, while challenger Audley Harrison surprised everyone by scaling in at 245 lbs for their collision on Saturday night at the Echo Arena in Liverpool, England. 245 is around the normal fighting weight for Price, but the 40-year-old Harrison weighed 15 pounds less than than his previous fight against Ali Adams in May, and equaled the lowest weight of his career (previously attained in 2004).
The bout is expected to attact 8,000+ to the Echo Arena in the second major all-British heavyweight showdown of the year and the first ever between British Olympic medalists.
