Former heavyweight champion Hasim Rahman (50-7-2, 41 KOs) is currently sparring with Friday Ahunayna and Chaen “Checkmate” Chess at the Hit Factory Gym in Las Vegas, Nevada. “The Rock” is scheduled to fight Alexander Povetkin (24-0, 16 KOs) for the WBA world heavyweight title on September 9 at the Alsterdorf Sporthalle, in Hamburg.
Chaen Chess is also trained by Eddie Muhammad Mustafa. The 27-year-old has relocated from Ohio to Las Vegas to train with Mustafa.
