Middleweight Derrick “Superman” Findley scored an upset third round TKO over Ronald Hearns (26-4, 20 KOs) on Friday night at the Sportplex, Taylor, Michigan. Hearns, the son of the legendary Thomas Hearns, couldn’t continue after suffering an injury when the fighters tumbled to the canvas after a clinch. Hearns was taken from the ring on a stretcher to a local hospital complaining of neck pain. He was released several hours later.
