Heavyweight Factory inks Solomon

The Heavyweight Factory has signed unbeaten welterweight Brad “The King” Solomon (12-0, 4 KOs) to a promotional contract. Solomon will be the co-feature against Puerto Rican veteran Wilfredo “Papin” Negron (26-14-1, 19 KOs) in a ten rounder for the WBA International and WBC Latino titles. on HF’s August 24th at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida. In the main event, heavyweight Timur Ibragimov (28-2-1, 15 KOs) will face off with undefeated former Olympian Gurcharan Singh (20-0, 11 KOs) in a ten rounder for the NABA Intercontinental title. This will be Timur’s first defense of the belt.

In another interesting fight, heavyweight Luis Ortiz (2-0, 2 KOs), a former Cuban Team member, will be in for the biggest test of his career as he looks to knock off Kendrick Releford (22-13-2, 10 KOs), who has previously beaten two Cuban fighters at the Hard Rock in Elieser Castillo and Ramon Garbey.

The undercard will feature some local talent: James Bryant 3-0 vs John Cobb 3-3, Emmanuel Agustama 2-0 vs Robert CT Turner 2-2, Albert Jimenez vs Yasmany Consuegra, Ray Tillman vs Watson Pierre, Donato di Martiis 3-0 vs Joey Diaz, Innocente Fiz 2-0 vs TBA and Pedro Rodriguez 2-0 vs Miami`s own Abdulah” Blackout” Dobey 4-0.
