In a rematch, Adrian “Confesor” Hernandez (25-2-1, 16 KOs) regained the WBC light flyweight title by dethroning reigning champion Kompayak Porpramook (46-4, 31 KOs) via sixth round TKO on Saturday night at the Centro de Convenciones in Toluca, Mexico. Hernandez knocked down Porpramook with a right to the jaw in round three. “El Confesor” suffered a cut over his left eye after an accidental head clash in round four. The bout was stopped after Hernandez floored Porpramook with another right hand in round six.
In their first fight, Porpramook won by tenth round KO in Thailand.
