Hirsch named new BWAA president

Jack Hirsch has been voted in as the new president for the Boxing Writers Association of America. A boxing journalist since 1986, Hirsch was the organization’s vice president since 2000. He replaces Bernard Fernandez, who, after serving as president for five of the past seven years, has stepped down this year.
