Ibarra to face Zamora

All Star Boxing, Inc. “The New Generation,” Tuto Zabala Jr. and Deportes Telemundo are teaming up once again to present the popular series “Boxeo Telemundo”on Friday, March 19th, 2010 at the famous Auditorio La Condesa in Mexico City, Mexico. In the main event Oscar “Cebiche” Ibarra of Mexico City, Mexico will face Darwin “Finito” Zamora of Matagalpa, Nicaragua in a battle scheduled for 12 Rounds with the  vacant WBC Latin flyweight title at stake.

Ibarra is the WBC FECOMBOX champion and is currently ranked #9 by the WBC and brings a record of (20-4, 12 KOs). On the other hand hard punching southpaw Zamora is the national champion and ranked #21 by the WBC with a record of (17-3, 15 KOs).

There are seven fights scheduled with the first bell at 8:00 PM. Tickets are already on sale at the Auditorio Plaza Condesa Juan Escutia #4 on the corner of Nuevo Leon and Tamaulipas, La Condesa in Mexico City or by calling (525) 53259000 or at ticketmaster.com.mex. The price is only 200 pesos.

The main event will be televised live coast to coast in the United States by the Telemundo Network at 11:35 PM on High Definition. The show is being presented by Tuto Zabala Jr., All Star Boxing, Inc: “The New Generation” in association with Producciones Deportivas, Rafael Mendoza and Producciones RB.
