IBF Convention in Berlin next week

The IBF 30th annual convention will kick off in one week at the Hotel Concorde in historic Berlin, Germany. The convention will run from May 21-25 and will include the following agenda:

Tuesday, May 21
9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Registration
9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Board of Directors Meeting
7:00 PM – 9:00 PM Welcome Cocktail

Wednesday, May 22
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Registration
9:00 AM –12:00 PM Berlin City Tour
7:00 PM – 10:00 PM Meet the Champions

(Current IBF champions Wladimir Klitschko, Katsunari Takayama, Lamont Peterson, Yoan Pablo Hernandez expected to attend as well as former IBF champs from Germany- Sven Ottke, Henry Maske, Graciano Rocchigiani, Arthur Abraham, and others).

The IBF annual awards will also be presented to male and female boxers for most defenses, fighters of the year, fights of the year in IBF and USBA, Promoters of the year and most active promoters in the IBF and it’s regional bodies. A boxing show will be presented on Thursday, May 23rd at Hotel Moa in Berlin by promotional outfit Ludus Pugilatus (Robert Rolle), to which all IBF convention delegates are invited.
