IBF#13 flyweight Amnat Ruenroeng (11-0, 5KOs) stopped Takuro Habu (11-8-2, 3KOs) in four rounds of a scheduled twelve round IBF Asia championship bout at Viphavade, Surat Thani, Thailand on Friday. The former Beijing 2008 Olympian Ruenroeng controlled all the rounds and dropped the Japanese 112 pounder Habu twice in round four and the referee called it off at 1:37.
Ruenroeng’s manager Jimmy Chaichotchuang is chasing an IBF world title shot against champion Moruti Mithalene for his charge
In other action IBF#14 Super featherweight Fahsai Sakkreerin (40-4-1, 22KOs) stopped Indonesian veteran Sonny Manakane (17-13-3, 9KOs) in round four of a scheduled eight. Sakkreerin returning to ring action after suffering a second round KO loss against Rances Barthelemy in IBF eliminator in June.
IBF#13 light flyweight Fahlan Sakkreerin Jr (22-2, 14KOs) outscored Wilber Andogan (9-12-4, 3KOs) over eight rounds. Sakkreerin’s is the son of former IBF 108 pound champion Fahlan Sakkreerin Sr.
