It is only Sexton’s 2nd defeat in 18 fights with a 14-2-2(5) record and was rated #7 as 5th Brit in the EBU ratings. Sexton went down at the end of the 7th from a left to the body. Jamoye felt that he could end the fight and continued in round 8th. Jamoye’s will now have to face his official challenger who is Zhanat Zhakiyanov (19-1-0/12) from Kazakhstan.
