Jan 25 FNF undercard at Turning Stone

The non-televised undercard for the Friday, January 25 ESPN Friday Night Fights event at Turning Stone Resort Casino features local sensation, light heavyweight Ryon McKenzie, who calls Canastota, New York home. Plus, exciting middleweight Enrique Collazo is scheduled to make his professional debut. Collazo competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, representing Puerto Rico.

The nationally televised event will be headlined by a 12 round main event, as NABO Middleweight Champion Brian Vera (21-6-0, 12 KOs) of Austin, Texas defends his title against former WBO Junior Middleweight World Champion Sergiy “Razor” Dzinziruk (37-1-1, 24 KOs) of Ukraine. Help Support®

For 18 years,® has delivered daily boxing news to fight fans around the globe. From the beginning, we have always kept Fightnews free to our readers and relied on advertiser support. Anyway, the Miami Herald, The Guardian, and Wikipedia among others have been using the “crowdfunding” revenue model, so we thought we’d test it too.

Please consider helping out. You’re not obligated to, but even a $1 pledge would really help. And if we reach our goal, we plan to upgrade our server and maybe even nuke the ads altogether. Wouldn’t that be nice?
