IBF super featherweight world champion Juan Carlos Salgado (25-1-1, 16 KOs) will wrap up his high altitude training this weekend. Salgado set up camp high in the mountains of the Mexico State in Jiquipilco and Nevado de Toluca. Salgado and his team will travel to Puebla on Monday to end his workouts to keep on track to make weight. Salgado will defend his world crown on August 18 against former WBA champion Jonathan Barros (34-2-1, 18 KOs) at the Gimnasio Miguel Hidalgo in Puebla, Mexico on a card presented by Promociones del Pueblo.
