Super bantamweight sensation Jesús Rojas (16-1, 12 KOs) is training and getting ready in Miguel Cotto’s training camp in Hollywood, Florida, for his upcoming fight on March 12 on the Cotto vs. Mayorga undercard. Legendary trainer and Boxing Hall of Famer Emanuel Steward said “Rojas is a great boxer with tremendous skills, very strong and powerful. He will be a future PPV Star, he has what the fans love to see.”
After 18 months away from the ring, Jesús signed with Promociones Miguel Cotto and H2 Entertainment and had three wins in 2010.
“Jesús is part of our family, his been around me since he was amateur,” said promoter and reigning WBA super welterweight world champion Miguel Cotto. “He is a very strong and thorough fighter. We have big plans for him.”
Fully focused on his training and ready to show the world what he is all about, Jesús Rojas commented “I’m very happy with the opportunity that Miguel and Héctor gave me to be part of the camp. I wont waste this chance and will be ready for my fight on March 12. I feel stronger, just want to fight the best on my division, bring them all.”
Cotto vs. Mayorga on March 12 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena of Las Vegas and will air live on SHOWTIME Pay-Per-View.
