Jhonny Gonzalez Update

Former two-division world champion Jhonny Gonzalez (52-8, 45 KOs) could reappear on February 23 in Mexico. Word is the opponent would be Nicaraguan Eusebio Osejo (21-12-2, 7 KOs) and the bout could be a twelve round featherweight contest for a WBC regional title. Gonzalez would make his return fight after his technical decision loss to Daniel Ponce De Leon on September 15 in Las Vegas. Gonzalez has been training about a month with his Hall of Fame trainer Nacho Beristain at Romanza Gym in Mexico City. Jhonny hopes to faces the winner of Velez-Ponce De Leon the near future.
