Former world champion Jhonny Gonzalez (53-8, 45 KOs) won a twelve round unanimous decision over Eusebio Osejo (21-13-2, 7 KOs) on Saturday night at the Conevntion Center in Ixtapa Zihuatanejo, Mexico. Gonzalez recovered from a fourth round knockdown to defeat Osejo by scores of 115-111, 115-112 and 116-110. He now hopes for a rematch with WBC featherweight champion Daniel Ponce de León.
