Jimmy O passes

James O’Pharrow also known as Jimmy O passed away Sunday night at the age of 85 of a reported heart-related issue. O’Pharrow is well known for having founded the Starrett City Boxing Club of Brooklyn, New York in 1978. Former world champions Zab Judah, Shannon Briggs, Riddick Bowe, and Louis Collazo are just a few names who have trained out of the famed gym. Fightnews sends its condolences to all the family and friends of O’Pharrow.
