Undefeated former two-time world champion Joan “Little Tyson” Guzman (33-0-1, 20 KOs) trains hard for his WBA World light welterweight championship fight next Friday November 30th at the BB&T Center. The 36-year old Dominican shows off an incredible physique, unspoiled by the Thanksgiving Day holiday. Acquinity Sports head trainer Herman Caicedo and assistant trainer “Irish” Micky Ward promised their charge will “feast” on undefeated challenger Khabib “The Hawk” Allakhverdiev (17-0, 8 KOs) of Russia in their 12-round bout.

Fans who can’t make it in person can catch the fight on Bounce TV (WFLX Fox 29 locally in Palm Beach County) and The Pursuit Channel (Channel 240 Dish and 604 DirecTV). The combined broadcast will reach a worldwide audience of 115 million homes.

    Help Support®

For 18 years,® has delivered daily boxing news to fight fans around the globe. From the beginning, we have always kept Fightnews free to our readers and relied on advertiser support. Anyway, the Miami Herald, The Guardian, and Wikipedia among others have been using the “crowdfunding” revenue model, so we thought we’d test it too.

Please consider helping out. You’re not obligated to, but even a $1 pledge would really help. And if we reach our goal, we plan to upgrade our server and maybe even nuke the ads altogether. Wouldn’t that be nice?
