Undefeated WBO junior featherweight champion Juan Manuel Lopez (26-0, 24 KOs) easily made the 30 day minimum weight requirement today for his upcoming title defense. Lopez weighed in at 133 pounds which was well below the 140.3 maximum weight allowed. Lopez will defend his title against Rogers Mtagwa on October 10th at the Madison Square Garden in New York. For Lopez it will be his first time fighting at the Madison Square Garden, something he is very aware of and ready to deliver a solid performance. “With this being my first time fighting at the Garden, I really want to deliver a very solid performance for all the fans in attendance,” said Lopez.
