There are unofficial reports that WBC middleweight world champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.’s September 17 defense against Ronald Hearns could be postponed. Reliable sources inform us that there is a lesion on the right hand of Chavez Jr. and he will be visiting a doctor to seek a final diagnosis. It was also reported that Chavez Jr. is now about 168 pounds. The same source indicates that it appears that the fight will be suspended until a possible date of November 19. Chavez Jr, posted a photo of the injury in his right hand on his twitter account and hopes to be fighting on September 17.
