K2 East signs Glazkov!

By Alexey Sukachev

K2 East, seemingly the biggest Ukrainian promotional group, welcomes a new sound name to its team. Vyacheslav Glazkov, who was a bronze medalist at 2008 Beijing Olympics in super heavyweight division, has recently signed an agreement with Klitschko brothers’ affiliated company. Glazkov, 24, was to face Chinese Zhang Zhilei in semifinals after two preliminary wins but was forced to withdraw with an elbow injury. He was also a silver medalist in the 2007 amateur championship in Chicago, USA, losing only to future champion and Olympic gold medalist Roberto Cammarelle of Italy.
