Daiki Kameda wins vacant IBF 115lb belt; Kameda Brothers holds triple crown

By Joe Koizumi

Ex-WBA flyweight champ Daiki Kameda (29-3, 18 KOs), 115, acquired the vacant IBF super-flyweight belt as he pounded out a unanimous decision (114-112, 116-110, 117-109) over former IBF ruler Rodrigo Guerrero (19-5, 12 KOs), 115, over twelve rounds on Tuesday in Kagawa, Japan. Daiki’s coronation made a historically first accomplishment of three brothers holding world championships—at the same time—along with WBA bantam kingpin Koki and newly crowned WBO bantam ruler Tomoki.
