World Champion Kameda Brothers recognized by the Guinness Book of Records

At a press conference held in Cebu City, Philippines, the Kameda bothers were presented a certificate by Guinness Book of Records that declared:

“The most siblings to win world boxing titles is 3 and was achieved by the 3 Kameda brothers – Koki Kameda, Daika Kameda and Tomoki Kameda (all Japan) at the Waterfront Hotel and Casino in Cebu Philippines on 1 August 2013”

Tomoki, who was crowned WBO bantamweight champion on Thursday is the youngest of the brothers at just 21 years old, Koki is the oldest at 26, and Daiki is 24. Koki is currently WBA bantamweight champion with seven defenses so far. Daiki is a former WBA flyweight champion who will soon will soon face Mexican Rodrigo Guerrero for the vacant IBF super flyweight championship in Kagawa Province, Shikoku Island, Japan.
