WBA#1/WBC#3 flyweight Koki Kameda (20-0, 13 KOs), 113, easily finished overmatched and fragile Mexican Dolores Vidal (publicized 21-9, 19 KOs), 111.75, by dropping him three times at 2:09 of the second round in Saitama, Japan, on Wednesday. Vidal was ballyhooed as a WBC#20 ranked contender, but he looked so terrible that he couldn’t show nothing prior to his disappointing defeat. Lately we have never seen such a poor performance of Mexican boxers (well-known by their gallant machismo) fighting here in Japan.

Daiki Kameda (13-1, 10 KOs), 114.75, also easily dispatched Wandee Singwangcha (57-10-1, 12 KOs), 113.75, at 0:27 of the sixth session. Ex-WBC champ Wandee also seemed to have left his fighting spirit in Thailand only to miserably succumb to Daiki’s body shots. Wandee didn’t look what he used to be. Promoter: Katsumata Promotions.
