Former lightweight champion Michael Katsidis (28-6, 23 KOs) has pulled out of his February 21 fight with Weng Haya in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Word is the two-time WBO interim beltholder has failed an MRI and is likely to retire. On his Facebook page, Katsidis wrote: “Unfortunately I have had to pull out of my fight on feb 21st. I have a story to tell and I will be telling it, but right now I need to talk with my family, management as well as medical staff. Thanks for your support and understanding.”
