Following his Aug. 7th win over Victor Barragan in Primm, NV, undefeated heavyweight prospect Travis Kauffman returned to train in Deer Lake, PA at the site of Muhammad Ali’s former training camp. Kauffman (18-0, 15 KOs) will face Tony Grano (15-1-1, 12 KOs) Sept. 18th in the main event of SHOWTIME’s “Sho-Box: The New Generation” broadcast from Santa Ynez, CA. Joining Kauffman to train and spar at the historic site was Ring Magazine’s #10-ranked cruiserweight Matt Godfrey (19-1, 10 KOs) who was preparing for his own upcoming Sept. 12th fight with Michael Simms (20-11-2, 13 KOs) in Sacramento, CA.
