Kentikian foe named!

Unbeaten “Killer Queen” Susi Kentikian (24-0, 16 KOs) will defend her WBA and WIBF flyweight titles against WBA super flyweight beltholder Carolina Marcela Gutierrez Gaite (15-1, 11 KOs) on the July 4 card at Hamburg’s Color Line Arena on the “Universum Champions Night“ card headlined by the WBO heavyweight eliminator between unbeaten Alexander Dimitrenko (29-0, 19 KOs) and Eddie Chambers (34-1, 18 KOs). “I was very satisfied with my last fight in March,” said Kentikian. “I was very sharp that day and left Elena Reid with no chance. Carolina Gaite is the current WBA world champion in the next higher weight class and is, of course, another big challenge. Against this opponent I must further develop to again satisfy the boxing fans with my determined fight style and win very clearly.” Also seeing action are WIBF/GBU junior bantamweight champion Alesia Graf (23-1, 9 KOs) and cruiserweight contender Alexander Alekseev (17-1, 15 KOs) against opponents to be named.

    Help Support®

For 18 years,® has delivered daily boxing news to fight fans around the globe. From the beginning, we have always kept Fightnews free to our readers and relied on advertiser support. Anyway, the Miami Herald, The Guardian, and Wikipedia among others have been using the “crowdfunding” revenue model, so we thought we’d test it too.

Please consider helping out. You’re not obligated to, but even a $1 pledge would really help. And if we reach our goal, we plan to upgrade our server and maybe even nuke the ads altogether. Wouldn’t that be nice?
