Kermit Cintron Update

By Francisco Salazar

Kermit Cintron promoter Lou DiBella told Fightnews: “He hit his head. I think that the doctor saw that he hit his head and that he had to send him to the hospital. Kermit wanted to fight. I don’t understand how this is a technical decision when the fight did not go four full rounds. It’s a California law, but it is a dumb law. How can you say who can win a three and a half round fight? If that is the case, in my opinion, my guy won the fight. Paul never hurt him. He (Kermit) hurt Paul.”

    Help Support Fightnews.com®

For 18 years, Fightnews.com® has delivered daily boxing news to fight fans around the globe. From the beginning, we have always kept Fightnews free to our readers and relied on advertiser support. Anyway, the Miami Herald, The Guardian, and Wikipedia among others have been using the “crowdfunding” revenue model, so we thought we’d test it too.

Please consider helping out. You’re not obligated to, but even a $1 pledge would really help. And if we reach our goal, we plan to upgrade our server and maybe even nuke the ads altogether. Wouldn’t that be nice?
