Kessler responds to Froch kill threat

After avoiding trash talk throughout the build-up for Saturday’s unification clash against WBA super middleweight champion Mikkel Kessler, IBF super middleweight champion Carl Froch stopped pulling his punches when talking to a small group of boxing writers at Wednesday’s press conference in London. “If I have to, I will kill this f__ker,” quotes the Guardian’s Kevin Mitchell. “Sorry about the language, but I will kill him. It sounds brutal, it sounds horrible, but that is what this means to me.”

The Daily Mail’s Jeff Powell quotes Froch as saying “If I have to kill him to keep my title then I will. In fact, the way I feel now, I want to do him serious damage. Yes, kill him.”
