Khan-Murray not a go

Contrary to a recent press reports, WBA light welterweight champion Amir Khan will not fight John Murray in December says promoter Frank Warren. Dimitry Salita is the mandatory challenger for Khan’s title and Warren is currently in negotiations with Salita’s promoters, plus Murray is not ranked by the WBA and could not defend against him next. Warren also said that Salita has not signed for another fight as rumored.
