Khan says he’s signed to fight Mayweather, but if Floyd doesn’t commit he’s willing to face Pacquiao

Amir Khan told the UK’s Daily Mail that he has signed a contract to fight Floyd Mayweather and is waiting for Floyd. “I am the one who signed the contract, I’ve signed my part of the contract, they’ve not signed theirs,’ he said. ‘If he wants to fight Amir Khan then he should sign it…if he wants to face someone I’ve beaten (Maidana) then so be it.”

“I’d fight Manny,” he continued “Look, it’s business. We are friends and respect each other, but I would definitely consider the fight, and I am sure he would too.”

    Help Support Fightnews.com®

For 18 years, Fightnews.com® has delivered daily boxing news to fight fans around the globe. From the beginning, we have always kept Fightnews free to our readers and relied on advertiser support. Anyway, the Miami Herald, The Guardian, and Wikipedia among others have been using the “crowdfunding” revenue model, so we thought we’d test it too.

Please consider helping out. You’re not obligated to, but even a $1 pledge would really help. And if we reach our goal, we plan to upgrade our server and maybe even nuke the ads altogether. Wouldn’t that be nice?
