Australian light welterweight Josh King (14-3, 7 KOs) stopped Scottish born Charlie King (18-5, 1 KO) in seven rounds of a scheduled twelve round bout with the interim WBF title up for grabs at the RSL Stadium, Murray Sports Complex in Townsville, Queensland, Australia on Friday. In the main support 2000 Olympian Brad Hore (3-1) outscored Tommy Clarke (6-5-2, 1 KO) over eight rounds to capture the Queensland state bantamweight title. Cruiserweight Mark Flanagan (12-4, 7 KOs) scored a second round knockout over Walter Pupu’a (12-24, 8 KOs) of a scheduled eight. Super middleweight Shane Parry (3-1, 1 KO) scored a majority four round decision over Garth Murray (6-6). Promoter Joe Pennisi.
