Klitschko-Arreola undercard

Two heavyweight fights were added to the highly anticipated event featuring the world title showdown between WBC heavyweight champion Vitali “Dr. Iron Fist” Klitschko and WBC #1 contender Cristobal “The Nightmare’’ Arreola on Saturday, September 26 at STAPLES Center in Los Angeles. Fast rising undefeated heavyweight Alexander Ustinov (17-0, 14 KOs) will take on once-beaten Cedric Boswell (31-1, 24 KOs) in a twelve rounder and once-beaten Johnathon Banks (21-1, 15 KOs) will meet Javier Mora (22-4, 18 KOs) in a scheduled ten-round fight. Tom Loeffler, of K2 Promotions, was excited to announce the addition of these fights. “These two heavyweight fights are a great compliment to our heavyweight world championship main event. It will be an exciting display of heavyweight talent where the six fighters have an amazing record of 155 wins with only 8 losses.”

For 18 years,® has delivered daily boxing news to fight fans around the globe. From the beginning, we have always kept Fightnews free to our readers and relied on advertiser support. Anyway, the Miami Herald, The Guardian, and Wikipedia among others have been using the “crowdfunding” revenue model, so we thought we’d test it too.

Please consider helping out. You’re not obligated to, but even a $1 pledge would really help. And if we reach our goal, we plan to upgrade our server and maybe even nuke the ads altogether. Wouldn’t that be nice?
