Klitschko-Pianeta kickoff presser

IBF/WBA/WBO/IBO World Heavyweight Champion Wladimir Klitschko and challenger Francesco Pianeta participated yesterday at a press conference at SAP Arena in Mannheim, Germany to announce their upcoming fight on May 4.

Pianeta already has some experience in the ring with the champion, having helped Klitschko prepare for his defense against Tony Thompson last year. The WBA #12/WBO #9 contender boldly proclaimed “I am going to bust Wladimir’s ass.”

On the other hand Wlad praised Pianeta saying “I have a huge respect for a man who has defeated cancer. Cancer is harder than any world champion.”

In Germany, Klitschko vs. Pianeta will be broadcasted on RTL, EPIX will show the fight in the U.S. Tickets available on and via phone under +49-621-18190-333. Prices range from 57 Euro to 700 Euro.
