WBA heavyweight champion (in recess) Ruslan Chagaev could be the new challenger for IBF/WBO/IBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko. “Haye is still a possibility but our first priority is Chagaev,” Klitschko’s manager Bernd Boente told BBC. Although a number of fighters have expressed interest in stepping in for the injured Haye, Boente says, “At the moment we are only interested in Chagaev, or Haye on June 20 or three weeks later. I hope we will know what we are doing in the next three days.”
