In a very interesting super middleweight bout this Saturday, former world title challenger David “The Destroyer” Lopez (40-13, 23 KOs) will take on former hot prospect and KO artist Julio Cesar “Baby Face” Garcia (45-5, 38 KOs) in a ten-rounder at the Gimnasio Auditorio Jorge Campos in La Paz, Baja California Sur, Mexico. The Promociones del Pueblo card is billed as “Night of Knockouts” and will broadcast on Cadena 3 in Mexico.
In other action, undefeated featherweight and 2011 Golden Belt champion Juan Jose “Venado” Perez (12-0, 2 KOs) takes on Manuel Amador (4-1, 2 KOs) and bantamweight Edgar “Lic” Monárrez (13-1, 9 KOs) faces Alberto “Mulatto” Ruiz (6-1, 2 KOs) in a fight scheduled for eight rounds.
