Kolle, Walters triumph!

By Jesse Kelley at ringside

Middleweight Andy “Kaos” Kolle (19-2) of Duluth, MN stopped Anthony Shuler (20-6) of Indiana in the third round last night in Duluth, MN. Each fighter scored with clean punches throughout the bout. A left hook to the jaw dropped Shuler hard near the ropes. Shuler was hurt but fought his way to his feet where referee Mark Nelson stopped the fight at 2:05 of round three.
In the co-feature, light heavyweight Zach “Jungle Boy” Walters (24-4) flattened James Morrow (11-13) in round two. Walters dropped Morrow with a big right to the head near the end of the round one. A right uppercut dropped Morrow to the canvas again a minute and a half into the second round. Morrow was able to get to his feet but Walters gave him no chance to recover. A left-right-left to the head of Morrow prompted referee Bobby Brunette to stop the fight at 1:46 of round two.
