300+ fans turned out for the public workout in Magdeburg’s “Flora Park” featuring WBO #1 light heavyweight Robin Krasniqi (38-2, 14 KOs) and his opponent Max Heyman (25-11-4, 14 KOs) who are colliding in a twelve round showdown on Friday night at the Maritim Hotel. Krasnigi will be risking his mandatory status to challenge world champion Nathan Cleverly in the bout.
Also on hand was unbeaten WBO #8 heavyweight Francesco Pianeta (27-0-1, 14 KOs) who takes on Nelson Dario Dominguez (14-1-1, 7 KOs) in the ten-round co-feature. German boxing icon Axel Schulz was at this event to support Pianeta.
