Poonsawat Kratingdaenggym used a relentless attack to wear down Rafael Hernandez of Venezuela before referee Raul Caiz called a halt to the contest in round nine. Hernandez had his moments but was unable to mount a sustained attack nor hurt the Thai. The victory paves the way for a fight between Kratingdaengym and the WBA Regular champion Bernard Dunne.
