A press conference was held on Monday for Friday’s SES card at the MBS Arena, in Potsdam, Germany. In the main event, female super featherweight champion Ramona Kühne (21-1, 7 KOs) defends against unbeaten Hungarian Gina Chamie (8-0, 4 KOs) and former light heavyweight world title challenger Robin Krasniqi (40-3, 15 KOs) meets unbeaten fellow contender Emmanuel “Tyson” Danso (20-0, 18 KOs) from Ghana with the winner moving closer to a world title shot.
Ramona Kühne: “This is a fight between old and young. With my experience from many title fights and the honor of boxing here at home in front of my great fans here in Potsdam I’m very optimistic…Of course she wants my belts, but already many have wanted this!”
Gina Chamie: “Ramona Kühne is an experienced world champion, but I’m here to bring the belts to Hungary. I have to be careful of hard body shots from Ramona. But I can and will not hide and I’ll deliver the great fight, everyone is waiting for!”
Robin Krasniqi: “Emmanuel Danso is a man with a great knockout ratio, but that doesn’t scare me. I have my ‘own weapons.’ I’ve developed both technically and in conditioning. With a victory I have many options with WBO and the WBA to get a world title fight as quickly as possible.”
Emmanuel “Tyson” Danso: “We have prepared like always, it can go very quickly. Who is Krasniqi? I don’t care. The knockout is always my goal, just like my role model Mike Tyson. At home they call me “Tyson” also. I’m proud of that!”
