Kwanpichit outpoints Golez

WBO #5 flyweight Kwanpichit OnesongchaiGym (18-0-1,6 KOs) impressively retained his WBO Oriental 112 lb crown when he won a unanimous decision over WBC #27 Rolio Golez (14-9, 5 KOs) on Friday at Western University in Pathumthani, Thailand. This bout was exciting as both fighters alternately landed big bombs in an entertaining seesaw battle. Kwanpichit dominated a little in the first four rounds when he landed many bodyshots which effectively weakened his opponent. It seemed Golez doing better in round five and six, gaining the score back with his more accurate counterpunches. The show turned to the local fighter again from seven to nine when he speeded his assault and almost floored the Filipino in round eight with his hard combinations. In round ten, Golez almost turned over the situation as he landed a big left hooks following by many tough combinations which nearly dropped the champion. Kwanpichit came back again at the end, revenging his foe with a vicious left hook and then mostly displaying a one-sided attack during the last minute of the round eleven which almost pressured referee to terminate the show. This exciting fight finished with no knockdowns and the scorecards were read as 117-111, 117-112, 116-112 in favor of the defending champion.

In other actions, ABCO featherweight title holder Bualuang OnesongchaiGym (8-0,3 KOs) stopped Fabio Eddy in round two.

Thai 126lb champion Kaengsaklek Sakchaichok dropped Chinese Jen Yu Jia twice before he scored a unanimous decision.

Petchwanchai Sor Visetkit scored a six round unanimous decision over Susu Sithjadaeng.

WBC female#28 lightfly Buangern OnesongchaiGym (7-3-1) score a four round unanimous decision over Petchpairin Kiatpompetch.

WBC female#29 lightfly Ploynapa Sakrungrueng (9-2) outpointed Kulabkhao Sithsonram in a four round non-title bout.

Dorkmaipa keangpompetch scored a four round unanimous decision over Kultida Sor Tantong.

And Anrey Sor Saenkamrang stopped Nongprem Monthonggym in round two.
