Bilal Laggoune, 10-0-1(5), will defend tonight his Belgian national cruiserweight title against very limited Fabrice Clement, 3-2-0(2), on the 12th edition of the Gents Boxing Gala in the topsporthal in Gent, Belgium as part of a 6 fight event promoted by Claude Vandenheede.
Laggoune won the title against Christophe Dufaux and will make now the first defense of the title. Laggoune will be back in action on Decemmber 14 near his hometown in Pamel-Roosdaal, Belgium.
The main undercard bout is for sure the hard hitting Sasha Yengoyan, 25-1-1(16) who will meet Frank-Haroche Horta, 34-10-5(13). Horta has been stopped only once and is best known here for having stopped inside 2 rounds and probably ended the career of Jackson Osei Bonsu last March in the same ring. Yengoyan-Horta is scheduled for 8 rounds.
Ismael Abdoul, 49-27-2(19), will meet undefeated but inexperienced Stjepan Vugdelija, 6-0-0(5), over 8 rounds.
Also over 8 roounds will see action of multiple world champion Delfine Persoon, 25-1-0(11), against Irma Balijagic Adler, 14-3-0(7).
Elfi Philipps, 1-1-1 against Rachida Hilali, 1-0-0 over 6×2 and Sheldon Moore, 9-1-1(7), against Jairo Alvarez 8-9-1(7), over 6 rounds will complete this interesting show.
